Show & Tell Tuesday - Favorite Blog Posts

Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show & Tell Tuesday. Today's topic is Favorite Blog Posts! I guess I started this blog around three years ago, and have never been the best at regularly posting - although I really am trying lately! I have always been very intentional about posting the important stuff, though, and I really am thankful for that. I want to be able to look back at the details of events, and I want my kids to be able to do the same. Here are a few of my favorite posts yet:

Birth Stories

I am so happy that I wrote these soon after having the boys so that I can remember all about the days I met my little guys. From the loooooong 40+ hour labor with Wells to the blink-of-an-eye, doctor-almost-didnt-get-there-in-time-to-catch-him birth of Grayer, I am so happy that I can look back at these precious stories for years to come.

Monthly (or Yearly) Updates

I am consistent about posting baby updates for each month for the first year, and then snapshots every few months. It's so sweet to see how tiny the boys were at just a month old (Wells' 1-month here, Grayer's here). And it's crazy to see how much Wells has changed in his snapshots (one-year here and two-year here).

Miscellaneous

This Big News post, where I recapped a little of our fun Summer 2015 and announced our second pregnancy!

This Friday Favorites post because it was shortly after Grayer was born, and I was just getting used to being a mama to 2 under 2!

This Mama Tips post - because it's funny the little tips and tricks you learn, and it's important to share the knowledge!!

This post about our custom wood pallet baby gate is by far my most viewed - via Pinterest, so I should include it here. I LOVED that gate so much, and so did everyone who saw it - in fact, when our house sold a few weeks ago, the buyers amended the contract to include the gate in the sale! Ha! We were sad to leave it, but we will definitely have our friend build another one soon for when we get into the new house :)

So fun to reminisce, and I really am excited to document more special moments to look back on for years to come!

  1. That baby gate is gorgeous! I just might steal that idea for our remaining ungated staircase!
